I have the greatest community in real estate, filled with the most informed and most knowledgeable people in the industry.

One reader sent me the latest in a bombshell lawsuit just filed today. It is just starting to hit the news and interwebz and the court filing system.

The lawsuit is (or I assume will be named) Homie v. NAR. There is no link to reference as I don’t see one live, though if you have PACER, maybe you can find it.

Homie v. NAR is the next front in the antitrust lawsuit arena, and it is one that I don’t think anyone is prepared for. This one is dangerous, precisely as the Moehrl v. NAR lawsuit was dangerous, because the lawyers involved are not ambulance-chasing morons and because the plaintiff is not a random homeseller or homebuyer, but an actual corporation with money.

You never know when it comes to litigation, but this one is the real deal.

As always, I am trained in the law, but I am not your lawyer. None of this is legal advice, and you should ask your attorney for actual legal advice. This is educational entertainment and industry analysis.

Let’s get into it.
