I just thought I would let you all know that I recorded a Joe Rogan length podcast with Nick Aufenkamp, the REALTOR Gone Rogue, and have uploaded it to YouTube. Here it is:
It is about 3.5 hours long, but Nick and I both decided that we did not want to be limited by time. We wanted to explore what we thought about the main controversy in the industry today: private listings, role of the MLS, the fight between brokerages, fight between brokerage and MLS, role of agents in the agentic AI age, data, transparency, the rights of consumers, fiduciary duty, professionalism, and on and on.
The goal was to have a real in-depth conversation with someone I truly like and respect, even if we disagree, and keep talking until we got somewhere or ran out of breath. I think I understand his perspective much better after the conversation, and I hope Nick understands where I'm coming from better as well.
